Hosted by the AIIS Archives and Research Center for Ethnomusicology, ably guided by Shubha Chaudhuri, this will be one of the most important meetings of recent times. The keynote address "From Ownership to Trusteeship: Archival challenges to the imagination of Intellectual Property", will be delivered by Lawrence Liang, well-known Indian legal researcher and lawyer of Chinese descent, based in the city of Bangalore, who is known for his legal campaigns on issues of intellectual property.
